: The Sky In The Mountains :

i usually don't remember, my dreams
whether i wake slow or not.  they say u have to train yourself.  while
effortless for others.
      like life i suppose.
so i had that kind of dream to believe it seems........
me and several misfits were at an ocean front property
all sitting in chairs and watching the rolls of the waves coming in
the slow motion retained in the crests as they peak in one fluid line
that stretched the horizon
i could see no other land at all but that they were on.
u know how they call the sky in the mountains "big sky
country"
well it seems we had discovered "big water country"
but i hate the boundaries that "country" implies , for this had
none.

we sat and watched and occasionally spoke of this.
using our hands and arms like some stiff model trying to imitate the
unmistakable
but in the tranquility of our poetics we knew the other knew we had a
shared vision .
we would somehow be speaking to the movement of the ocean.
or perhaps just hearing its call , and we some sort of beacon or
transmitter tower with which to send her signal ashore

after sometime of this the young women in our strange crew professes
her love for me.
what a glorious manner to be overwhelmed.
she was like, " so , what's a girl got to do to get u to see....."
i suppose i've always been the hit over the head type in the ways
of love.  whatever that means.
when 2 people share a perfect moment in time how can one
refute its claims?

 i for one cannot.

especially when spoken in whispered tones.
so we had that feeling that everybody wants to be 2 souls as
one. @ that moment one cannot help but use words like soul mate , true
love , and destiny.     Something other than our positive power of
control that seems to have a will of its own.
 reform lifelines on the hands

and so i woke.... from this beauteous dream with its warmth and poetry
of possibility .
thought of the motion of the waves
their was one final crest which i saw coming in  that was the
largest and most overwhelming .  we stood up as it approached
seeing it as one where we'd get wet.  it was breathtaking  ,yet knew
this was our signal to go and leave for other paradises.
  or is that paradi ?
